How To Make Money By Advertising On Your Vehicle

Many people don’t know that it’s possible to make money by simply driving their cars around. Some companies don’t want to maintain a fleet of cars, so they pay individuals to advertise on their personal cars, in effect making their cars into moving billboards. There are normally no special routes that you have to take. You just go about your regular day-to-day routine with the ad plastered on your car.

 

The adverts are pasted on the car and can cover the entire car or just a small portion of it such as windows or doors only. You, the car owner, are normally paid per a few hundred dollars per month for providing the ad space. You can make enough money to take care of some of your financial responsibilities or at the very least not worry about fuel money since you can use the ad income for fuel. You can make anywhere from $50 to $1,000 a month depending on the company, location, size of the car and several other factors which vary from place to place.

Before you’re hired your car must meet the requirements of the ad company. They often check your driving record. A clean, well-maintained car is more desirable and a bigger vehicle such as a truck or trailer normally brings in more money. You can search for car ad programs on the Internet, or by approaching local businesses to check if they offer car advertising programs. Never enroll for a program that prompts you to pay.

The advantage for the company is that they get a lot of exposure since the cars move around, and as a result the adverts are seen by more people than a stationary billboard. The cars are usually fitted with a GPS tracker so that the company can see if you are really driving the car around in the desired locations.

Selection of drivers isn’t random though. People who live in high traffic areas are normally the best candidates since the plastered ads can potentially be seen by more people. Driver selection also depends on the target demographic of the advert. If a candidate lives in an area with more potential customers s/he will have higher chances of being selected.
